About Us
Established in 1994, JABB of the Carolina’s offers industry-leading sustainable biological solutions to growers. JABB was started by a group of researchers and farmers looking for alternative and safer pest management practices in livestock facilities. As JABB continued to grow and innovate, they began exploring how beneficial microbes can benefit plant health. Today, JABB’s primary focus is to utilize beneficial microbes as plant endophytes to promote plant health.

What is an Endophyte?
Endophytes are microorganisms present in plant tissues that do not cause any harm. This relationship is vital for a plant to thrive in its environment. Plants with endophytic relationships have improved photosynthetic efficiency, induced systemic resistance, enhanced resistance to abiotic and biotic stresses, and increased growth.
